Broadband growing in SC

The FCC reports that the number of broadband subscribers grew by 42% last year to a total of 28.2 million lines. In the same period the state of South Carolina showed a 39% increase with a growth of 88 thousand lines to a total of 310,906 lines of high speed internet statewide. 68% of South Carolina's high speed internet comes from cable providers with the balance being provided by telephone, satellite and others.
