Upstate Economics Can Be Fun...

The Greenville Chamber Small Business Event last week hosted Dr. Bruce Yandle, Professor of Economics Emeritus at Clemson University and Director of the Strom Thurmond Institute Economic Outlook Project. Dr. Yandle spoke on the subject of the Upstate's economy. He used a lot of impressive charts and a goodly dose of humour to explain that South Carolina's economy is heating up even if it is a bit behind the nation as a whole. He also pointed out that the Upstate's economy was more in line with the nation than the state at large.
