I want to thank my hard drive for remembering me...

What I did for Christmas Holiday...



On Christmas Eve day my laptop's hard drive ground to an ugly halt. Since then, I have been working hard to get a replacement drive, install it, restore my backups, and then recover from the stuff that doesn't want to restore the way I thought it should. It is now Sunday, January 2, 2005 and my computer once again remembers me. I am delighted at the progress while somewhat disappointed at the amount of effort that has been required to get this far.
