The painless path through the NPR fund drive....

I am a faithful NPR listener for all but two weeks a year. The fund drives are tough to listen to, but I still would like to show my support. Here is the recipe I propose for both me and you during this NPR fund raiser.

1) Send a check
2) Instead of listening to NPR live, listen to the podcasts of the shows you like the most.

Apparently this advice is being heeded by a number of easily disgruntled NPR listeners according to an article in Wired.
