There are days that I look at a curve and try to determine the area under that curve but give up because it involves real math in the form of forgotten calculus equations. I no longer despair because I now realize that although my foggy memory may keep me from doing real math or real science without review of the necessary equations, I can do junk science with ease and alacrity.
The beauty of predicting the future with astrology or examining the past through numerology is that no one can authoritatively claim that you are doing it wrong.
