Movie Review: Asoka was my first experience in a Hindi film. It had the feel of being made for an English speaking audience, even though the dialogue is in Hindi with English subtitles. It is a great piece of dramatic storytelling. The sets and costumes are beautiful. The musical numbers were a bit of a surprise as I did not know what I was getting into when I rented the film.
