Webside Curiousity - Spam as Poetic Art

Some days you just bump into something that you get completely and that is so deceptively simple that you wish you had thought of it first.

Today, I happened to see SpamIsPoetry.com in someone's twittering, friendfeed, or other aggregator of web nifties.

SpamIsPoetry converts curated spam email subjects and bodies into a lightly calligraphed collection of doggerel billboards. I like it.

Zombie Spammer Arrested - Will we notice?

Robert Alan Soloway won't be spamming you today:

A 27-year-old man described as one of the world's most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

Really? One guy can make a real difference in the amount of email sent globally?

A Microsoft lawyer describes him as one of the world's top ten spammers. How do they know? And if they do know, why does it take so long to get these guys? Is there a spammer most wanted list?
